Julia graduated from Rowan University with honors in May 2009. She majored in Journalism, with a minor in Spanish, and a concentration in International Studies. In addition to being the college mascot (Go Profs!) and an on-air personality for Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM, Julia also wrote for The Whit, volunteered with Circle K, and performed annually in on-campus productions of The Vagina Monologues.

Julia is an improviser/storyteller/writer who has been studying at UCB Theatre since 2012. She is a member of both the advanced improv and sketch programs. She has trained under Joel Spence, Brett Christensen, Julie Brister, Drew DiFonzo Marks, Eugene Cordero, Will Hines, Beth Appel, Kevin Pedersen, Brandon Gardner and has been coached long-term by several talented performers, including Adam McCabe, Paul Welsh, Nick Mandernach, Marcy Jarreau and Erin Whitehead. She was once called a "game machine" by Will Hines. Julia was a member of the former UCB Mess Hall team Fresh Kicks. She can also be seen performing on indie improv teams like #NoParents and Broth Bag. She was a showrunner for four years for the recently-retired Clubhouse show After School Special.
